This portrait of Lucy is apart of my series 'YOU', painting my followers. The crescent moon shape is created from a shadow and reflection of light from the sun. Representing balance once you embrace your shadow side to live a bold life. The blend of the moon to the face and movement of the smears indicates that it is apart of who she is.
