This portrait of Hui is apart of my series of 'YOU', painting my followers. The smears that cross into the spotlight indicates an insight. Pearl necklace and water formations leading to the white sparkle form displays a moment of seeing a glimmer as the figure leans into it toward her shoulder. A glimmer can be described as a sliver of hope that provides a deeper understanding of ourselves or the environment around us. Finding these small moments of glimmers are what we need to hold onto when things feel too heavy.
